Mannan made DMD of Sonali Bank

Md Abdul Mannan has been made deputy managing director of the state-owned Sonali Bank Limited recently.

He took the charge as DMD of the bank on November 1, said a press release of the Sonali Bank.

Prior to the appointment, he was deputy managing director of Karmasangsthan Bank, the press release added.

He completed his B.Com (Hons) and M.Com degree in Finance from Dhaka University and then started his career as a senior officer at Janata Bank Ltd in 1993.

During his long 27 years of banking career, he worked at different branches including international department of the Janata Bank.

He has also served as branch and regional manager and deputy general manager of various key departments of the Karmasangsthan bank.
