Eid vacation only for 3 days

All public and private offices, including g factories will have only three holidays during the Eid-ul-Fitr vacation, according to the ministry of public administration.

The government has taken the move to contain the coronavirus cases and deaths.

The decision will be applicable for all government and nongovernment organisations, Cabinet Division Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam told reporters after the regular weekly cabinet meeting held with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair on Monday.

There will be three-day government holiday on the occasion of the Eid-ul-Fitr and no organisation can be able to give additional leave with its own initiatives, the cabinet secretary conveyed the government decision to the media.
