78.64% pass HSC exams, 92,595 get GPA-5

On an average 78.64 percent of the examinees passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations-2023 held under 11 education boards of the country.
"Of them, a total of 92,595 candidates got GPA-5 (maximum grade point average)in the examinations," Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni told a press conference at International Mother Language Institute (IMLI) here on Sunday.
Among the examinees, 13,57,915 students have been successful in the HSC and equivalent examinations.
A total of 10,67,852 students appeared in this year's HSC and equivalent examinations, reports BSS
