Construction of Kalinga bridge awarded to Max Infrastructure

The construction work of the 614-meter bridge over the Kalinga river in Nesharabad upazila of Pirojpur has been awarded to Max Infrastructure Limited.
The bridge will cost the government Tk 105.26 crore.
The proposal in this regard was approved at the Cabinet Committee on Government Purchase (CCGP) meeting held virtually on Wednesday with Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal in the chair.
After the meeting, Cabinet Division Additional Secretary Syed Mahmud Khan briefed the media virtually about the details of the approved proposals.
He said that the Directorate of Local Government Engineering under the Local Government Division approved the purchase of 614 meters PSC girder bridge over the Kalinga river from Max Infrastructure Limited for Tk 105.26 crore.
